The Top 20 Albums of 2005...

December 1st seems like a good day to start counting down my picks for the Top Twenty Albums of the Year 2005, don't you think?

I mean... I've pretty much already made the list. It's sitting in a Word document on my computer, just begging to be shared with the world, discussed by music nerds, and torn apart by indie hipsters. So why not share it?

Not so quick, buddy. I'm going to start slow. Give you a taste of the goods. Whet your appetite, so to speak. If I play my cards right, you'll constantly want more. As the days progress, the pressure will build up and you won't be able to take it anymore and you just want the release... of knowing what I picked for the top slot.

That's right kids. Starting at Number 20, I'm going to reveal an album a day until I get to Number 1. By my careful estimation, that'll leave half a week for you guys to go to the local record store and buy gifts for your loved ones.

Maybe I'll even upload my favorite track from each album for your sampling pleasure?

But not yet. No, this post will not give you any indication of what will make my Top 20. Because today is November 30th, not December 1st. So check back tomorrow.
